This Year’s Service Projects
All volunteers will meet on Festival Street at 8:30 on Saturday morning for a group photo and prayer gathering before spreading out to their projects. Available projects may differ between organizations.
Downtown Cleanup
Project Location:
Downtown Hermiston Area
Project Description:
Small groups will be dispersed throughout Downtown Hermiston to clean up garbage, pull weeds, and beautify the area.
Laundry Love
Project Locations:
Suds Yer Duds Laundromat
Hermiston Main Street Laundry
Washboard Laundry
Metro Wash-N-Dry
Project Description:
Teams will be available at each location to pay for laundry, pray with people, and spread the love of Jesus.
Free Car Washes
Project Locations:
Ace Hardware
Les Schwab Tires
Project Description:
Car washes will be available to any member of the community for free at either of these locations.
Railroad Cleanup
Project Location:
Hodge Park

Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and weeds from around the railroad tracks.
Oxbow Trail Cleanup
Project Location:
Harrison Park

Project Description:
Teams will be dispersed throughout the trail area to clean up garbage.
Rotary Trail Cleanup
Project Location:
HWY 395 from Java Junkies to Orchard
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds along the path and within the landscaping.
Free Kids Haircuts

Sherwin Williams Parking Lot

Project Description:
Licensed beauticians will be on site to provide free haircuts for children ages 0-12 years old.
Diaper Drive-Thru
Project Location:
Agape House
500 W Harper Rd
Project Description:
In partnership with Agape House, free diapers will be provided to any families in need.
Free Kids Haircuts
Project Location:
11th St and Hartley Ave
Project Description:
Licensed beauticians will be on site to provide free haircuts for children ages 0-12 years old.
Greenwood Neighborhood
Project Location:
Beech Avenue Area
Project Description:
Teams will disperse to cleanup garbage and pull weeds within the neighborhood.
Belt Park Cleanup
Project Location:
705 W Pine Ave
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds from around the park area.
Free Haircuts for the Homeless
Project Location:
Stepping Stones Alliance
81535 Lind Road
Project Description:
Licensed beauticians will be on site to provide free haircuts for anyone currently homeless. Shuttles will be made available. Stepping Stones can be contacted for more information.

Butte Park and Trail Cleanup

Small groups will clean up garbage from the trail that runs from the Hermiston Butte around the Good Shepherd Medical Complex.
Riverfront Park Cleanup
Project Location:
500 SW 23rd St
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds along the path and within the landscaping.
Horizon Park Cleanup
Project Location:
510 E Bella Vista Ave
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds from around the park area.
Senior Center Visits

Avamere at Hermiston
Guardian Angels Homes
Sun Terrace Assisted Living
Project Description:
Team members will be making visits to residents of multiple Hermiston Senior Centers. They will be offering prayer and providing free portraits of residents.
