Service Projects
Volunteers will be working all over Hermiston in a variety of ways! Scroll through this list to see all of the ways that you can jump in and help.
Belt Park Cleanup
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds from around the park area.
Butte Park Cleanup
Project Description:
Small groups will clean up garbage from the trail that runs from the Hermiston Butte around the Good Shepherd Medical Complex.
Diaper Drive-Thru
Project Description:
In partnership with Agape House, free diapers will be provided to any families in need.
Downtown Cleanup
Project Description:
Small groups will be dispersed throughout Downtown Hermiston to clean up garbage, pull weeds, and beautify the area.
Free Car Washes
Project Description:
Multiple free car washes will be available to any member of the community for free at either of these locations.
Free Haircuts for the Homeless
Project Description:
Licensed beauticians will be on site to provide free haircuts for anyone currently homeless. Teams will also be providing hospitality for those waiting for haircuts. Stepping Stones can be contacted for information on shuttle availability.
Free Kids Haircuts
Project Description:
Licensed beauticians will be on site at multiple locations to provide free haircuts for children ages 0-12 years old. Teams will also be providing hospitality for those waiting for haircuts.
Laundry Love
Project Description:
Teams will be available at laundromats across Hermiston to pay for laundry, pray with people, and spread the love of Jesus.
Oxbow Trail Cleanup
Project Description:
Teams will be dispersed throughout the trail area to clean up garbage.
Railroad Cleanup
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and weeds from around the railroad tracks.
Riverfront Park Cleanup
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds along the path and within the landscaping.
Rotary Trail Cleanup
Project Location:
HWY 395 from Java Junkies to Orchard
Project Description:
Teams will clean up garbage and pull weeds along the path and within the landscaping.
Nursing Home Visits
Project Description:
Team members will be making visits to residents of multiple Hermiston Senior Centers. They will be offering prayer and providing free portraits of residents.
